This research paper explores the role of embedding data products in decoding intelligence and the effectiveness of decision-making processes in an organization. Based on qualitative thematic analysis of peer-reviewed articles, we conclude that the data products increase the level of data accessibility, reliability, and usability, whereas the decision intelligence component improves the degree of analytical performance. Governance, integration, or competency problems have been highlighted by the findings, but agile governance frameworks and AI literacy are identified as critical factors of facilitation. In turn, the data products provide the decision intelligence that results in timely, clear, and evidence-based decision-making, thus enabling organizations to become agile in the digital and competitive fields at the same time.
