Malware is one of the major cybersecurity threats affecting computers, networks, servers, and digital devices. Malicious software can be designed to steal information, damage files, disrupt services, monitor activities, or provide unauthorized access to systems. As malware becomes increasingly sophisticated, organizations require effective mechanisms to identify suspicious files and activities at an early stage. The proposed Malware Threat Analysis and Detection System is a defensive cybersecurity platform designed to analyze potentially malicious files and identify indicators associated with malware. The system can examine authorized samples using static and controlled analysis techniques. Features such as file metadata, hashes, file structure, imported functions, strings, suspicious indicators, and behavioral observations can be used to support the detection process. The system uses an analysis engine to process collected characteristics and compare them with predefined security rules, known indicators, or machine-learning-based detection models. Based on the analysis, the system can classify a sample as benign, suspicious, or potentially malicious. Risk scores and detection results help security analysts prioritize samples that require further investigation. A centralized dashboard provides information about analyzed samples, detection statistics, threat categories, risk levels, and historical analysis results. The system can also generate structured reports containing analysis findings, detected indicators, classification results, and recommended defensive actions. This allows security teams to maintain a record of malware investigations and identify recurring threat patterns. The primary objective of the system is to improve the speed, consistency, and visibility of malware threat analysis. By combining file analysis, indicator extraction, detection mechanisms, risk assessment, visualization, and reporting into a unified platform, the system can support security analysts and researchers in identifying potential malware. The platform is intended for authorized defensive analysis, cybersecurity education, malware research, and security operations.
