The rapid growth of digital lending platforms has transformed the financial services industry by providing faster, more accessible, and technology-driven credit solutions to individuals and businesses. These platforms leverage artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cloud computing, and automated credit assessment models to simplify loan application, approval, and disbursement processes. This study examines the impact of digital lending platforms on traditional banking institutions, focusing on changes in customer preferences, lending efficiency, operational costs, financial inclusion, and competitive dynamics. The research adopts a secondary data-based approach by reviewing recent industry reports, scholarly articles, and financial publications to evaluate how digital lending is reshaping the banking landscape. The findings indicate that digital lending platforms have significantly improved customer convenience, reduced loan processing time, and expanded credit access to underserved populations. However, they also pose challenges for traditional banks, including increased competition, cybersecurity risks, regulatory compliance issues, and the need for continuous technological innovation. The study concludes that rather than replacing traditional banks, digital lending platforms are encouraging banks to accelerate digital transformation, adopt fintech collaborations, and develop customer-centric financial products. The research highlights the importance of a balanced regulatory framework that promotes innovation while ensuring consumer protection and financial stability. Overall, the study provides valuable insights into the evolving relationship between fintech-driven digital lending and the future of traditional banking.
