Design and Implementation of a Web-Based Smart Vehicle Parking Reservation and Management System with Real-Time Slot Allocation

The rapid increase in vehicle ownership has intensified parking challenges in urban areas, leading to traffic congestion, fuel wastage, and increased travel time. This paper presents a Web-Based Smart Vehicle Parking Reservation and Management System that enables users to reserve parking spaces in real time through an online platform. The system allows administrators to manage parking locations, slot availability, pricing, and user information efficiently. Registered users can view available parking areas, book parking slots, release occupied spaces, and make secure online payments based on the parking duration. The proposed system incorporates user authentication to prevent unauthorized access and ensure secure parking operations. Automated slot allocation, dynamic billing, and booking history further improve user convenience and operational efficiency. By eliminating manual parking management and reducing the time spent searching for available spaces, the system contributes to improved traffic flow, optimized parking utilization, and a seamless user experience, making it a practical solution for modern smart city parking management.
