Abstract

Open bore-well incidents pose a severe risk to children, often resulting in lifethreatening situations due to delayed rescue operations and limited accessibility. This study presents ChildSafe Rescue, an automated rescue system designed to locate, stabilize, and safely extract children trapped in bore-wells. The system integrates a combination of robotic arms, cameras, sensors, and real-time control mechanisms to navigate narrow bore-well shafts and perform precise rescue operations. Environmental sensors monitor gas levels and structural stability, while haptic feedback and visual guidance ensure safe maneuvering. Experimental simulations demonstrate that ChildSafe Rescue can significantly reduce response time, enhance operational safety, and improve the success rate of rescue missions. The system represents a critical advancement in emergency response technology for bore-well incidents.
