Abstract

Efficient scheduling is a critical requirement in real-time and embedded systems to ensure optimal resource utilization, timely task execution, and system reliability. Traditional manual or static scheduling approaches often fail to adapt to dynamic workload variations, leading to inefficiencies and delays. This study presents SmartScheduler, an embedded system designed for automatic task scheduling that dynamically allocates tasks based on priority, resource availability, and execution constraints. The system integrates real-time monitoring, adaptive scheduling algorithms, and microcontroller-based control to optimize task execution across multiple processes. Experimental evaluations demonstrate that SmartScheduler significantly improves task throughput, reduces latency, and enhances system efficiency compared to conventional scheduling methods. The findings highlight the potential of embedded automation to streamline operations in resource-constrained and real-time environments.
