Abstract

Strategic staffing is a critical component of human resource management that ensures workforce planning is aligned with organizational objectives to drive enhanced performance. This study examines strategic staffing practices at Hero MotoCorp Ltd, focusing on workforce forecasting, talent acquisition planning, competency mapping, succession planning, and performance-based deployment strategies within the automotive manufacturing sector. The research analyzes how aligning human capital strategies with business goals improves productivity, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage. Findings indicate that systematic workforce planning reduces skill gaps, optimizes resource utilization, and enhances employee engagement. Additionally, integrating data-driven decision-making and performance metrics into staffing processes supports agility and long-term sustainability. The study highlights that proactive staffing strategies enable organizations to respond effectively to market demands and technological advancements. It concludes that strategic staffing serves as a foundation for organizational growth and sustained high performance at Hero MotoCorp Ltd.
