Abstract

The growing number of digital services and cyber dangers in recent years have made safe identity verification a significant concern. Passwords, PINs, and ID cards are examples of traditional authentication techniques that are susceptible to theft, duplication, and illegal access. This project suggests a NextGen Identity Verification System with Facial Biometric Authentication to get around these restrictions. Based on distinctive face traits, the system verifies user identity using computer vision and deep learning algorithms. Face detection, feature extraction, and face matching with saved facial encodings are the next steps in the process, which starts with taking a live facial image with a camera. Real-time, contactless, and secure authentication is guaranteed by the technology. When compared to traditional authentication methods, experimental results demonstrate increased security, accuracy, and user experience.Key Words: Face recognition, computer vision, deep learning, CNN, OpenCV, facial biometric authentication, and identity verification
