The rapid growth of urbanization and population has led to a significant increase in solid waste generation, which poses serious challenges to effective waste management in smart cities. Traditional waste collection methods are inefficient, labor-intensive, and often result in overflowing dustbins, leading to environmental pollution, foul odors, and the spread of diseases. To address these challenges, this project proposes an IoTbased Smart Dustbin System using ESP32, ultrasonic sensors, GPS, and the Blynk cloud platform for realtime monitoring and alert generation. The collected data is analyzed and displayed on a web or mobile application dashboard that can be accessed by municipal authorities or waste management staff. When the waste level in a bin reaches a predefined threshold, an automatic alert or notification is sent to the waste collection team. This enables the authorities to schedule waste collection only when necessary, thereby reducing unnecessary trips and optimizing resource utilization.Additionally, GPS tracking can be integrated with waste collection vehicles to monitor their location and plan the most efficient routes for waste pickup
