Abstract

Quality of Work Life (QWL) refers to the overall well-being of employees in the workplace and their satisfaction with the working environment. It focuses on creating a balance between employees’ professional responsibilities and personal life while ensuring a safe, healthy, and supportive work environment. Organizations that emphasize quality of work life aim to improve employee morale, motivation, and productivity by providing fair compensation, job security, career growth opportunities, participative management, and positive workplace relationships. An effective quality of work life program helps employees feel valued and respected, which leads to higher job satisfaction and stronger organizational commitment. It also reduces workplace stress, absenteeism, and employee turnover. Various factors such as working conditions, work–life balance, employee participation in decision-making, recognition, and welfare facilities play a crucial role in enhancing QWL. In modern organizations, improving the quality of work life has become an important strategy for achieving sustainable organizational performance. When employees experience a high quality of work life, they are more engaged, innovative, and dedicated to achieving organizational goals. Therefore, organizations must continuously adopt policies and practices that promote employee well-being and create a positive and productive work environment.
