Promotional activities play a crucial role in influencing consumer purchasing decisions and strengthening brand recognition in competitive markets. With the rapid advancement of digital technologies, businesses now employ a combination of traditional and digital promotional strategies to reach their target audiences. This study examines the effectiveness of traditional promotional methods— such as newspapers, television, radio, brochures, and outdoor advertising—in comparison with digital promotional techniques including social media marketing, search engine marketing, online advertisements, and email promotions. The research focuses on analyzing consumer perceptions, reach, engagement levels, and the overall impact of these promotional approaches on purchasing behavior. Data for the study were collected through structured questionnaires distributed among consumers, and statistical tools were used to analyze the relationship between promotional strategies and consumer response. The study also evaluates factors such as cost efficiency, audience targeting, brand awareness, and customer interaction. The results reveal that traditional promotional activities are still valuable for creating mass awareness and establishing trust among consumers, particularly in rural and semi-urban markets. On the other hand, digital promotional activities provide greater flexibility, precise audience targeting, measurable outcomes, and interactive communication with customers. The study concludes that businesses can achieve better marketing effectiveness by integrating both traditional and digital promotional strategies in their promotional mix
